Exchanged the rhyming translation below with an adaptation of Psalm 1:1-2 from the Scottish Psalter of 1650, which is in the public domain.
* Happy is the person not encouraged to sin
Disrespect for God he will not begin.
To those who laugh at God, he is no kin
God is his constant delight.
He does what God says is right.
He thinks of it all day and night.

>Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan River to be baptized by John. (Matthew 3:13 ULB)
The word "then" shows that Jesus came to the Jordan River some time after the events in the previous verses.

Deleted these definitions at the beginning:
* **Assumed knowledge** is whatever a speaker assumes his audience knows before he speaks and gives them some kind of information. The speaker gives the audience information in two ways:
* **Explicit information** is what the speaker states directly.
* **Implicit information** is what the speaker does not state directly because he expects his audience to be able to learn it from what he says.
