# Romans 16 General Notes #
#### Structure and formatting ####
This chapter forms a final salutation or greeting for the Christians in Rome. It was common to end a letter in the ancient Near East with this type of personal greeting.
#### Other possible translation difficulties in this chapter ####
Because of the personal nature of this chapter, much of the context has been lost to history. This will make translation difficult. (See: [[rc://en/ta/man/translate/figs-explicit]])
