# General Information:

|
|
# A psalm of David
|
|
|
|
Possible meanings are 1) David wrote the psalm or 2) the psalm is about David or 3) the psalm is in the style of David's psalms.
|
|
|
|
# earnestly
|
|
|
|
"sincerely"
|
|
|
|
# my soul thirsts for you, and my flesh longs for you
|
|
|
|
These two clauses have basically the same meaning and are used together to emphasize how greatly the writer desires to be with God. AT: "my whole being greatly desires to be with you" (See: [[rc://en/ta/man/translate/figs-parallelism]])
