# Are you a teacher ... yet you do not understand ... I say to you ... you do not accept our testimony

# Are you a teacher of Israel, and yet you do not understand these things?
This question adds emphasis to the statement. Alternate translation: "You are a teacher of Israel, so I am surprised you do not understand these things!" (See: [[rc://en/ta/man/translate/figs-rquestion]])
