Here Isaiah continues to describe what it will be like when the king that God has chosen rules. (See: [Isaiah 11:1-2](../11/01.md))

# On that day
|
|
|
|
It can be stated clearly what time is being referred to. AT: "At that time" or "When the king rules" (See: [[rc://en/ta/man/translate/figs-explicit]])
|
|
|
|
# your wrath has turned away
|
|
|
|
God's wrath is spoken of as if it were a person that could turn away and leave. It means that God has stopped being angry. AT: "You are no longer angry with me" (See: [[rc://en/ta/man/translate/figs-personification]])

# God is my salvation
|
|
|
|
God causing someone's salvation is spoken of as if God were that salvation. The abstract noun "salvation" can be expressed with the noun "savior" or the verb "save".
