An ambassador is a person who is chosen to represent his country in dealings with foreign nations. In the Bible, this term is often used in a figurative, spiritual sense.

• Ambassadors are given the authority to communicate messages on behalf of their home government.
• An ambassador from God gives people messages from him that reflect his will for his people.
• The apostle Paul said that he was an ambassador for Jesus Christ.
• In the Bible, all Christians are said to be "ambassadors" for Jesus Christ since they represent him in this world and teach others his message.
