Daniel 06 Translation Questions

Q? Who did Darius appoint over the kingdom?

A. He appointed 120 provincial governors with three chief administrators over them. [6:1-2]

A. Daniel was one of the three chief administrators. [6:2]

Q? Why were the three chief administrators appointed?

A. They were appointed to supervise the provincial governors, so that the king should suffer no loss. [6:2]

A. The king planned to put Daniel over the whole kingdom. [6:3]

Q? Why could the other chief administrators and provincial governors find no corruption, no failure in his duty, no mistakes and no negligence in Daniel's work for the kingdom?
