Daniel 06 Translation Questions
Q? Who did Darius appoint over the kingdom?
A. He appointed 120 provincial governors with three chief administrators over them. [6:1-2]
Q? Who was one of the three chief administrators?
A. Daniel was one of the three chief administrators. [6:2]
Q? Why were the three chief administrators appointed?
A. They were appointed to supervise the provincial governors, so that the king should suffer no loss. [6:2]
Q? Who was the king planning to put over the whole kingdom?
A. The king planned to put Daniel over the whole kingdom. [6:3]
Q? Why could the other chief administrators and provincial governors find no corruption, no failure in his duty, no mistakes and no negligence in Daniel's work for the kingdom?
A. They could find none of these things because Daniel was faithful. [6:4]
Q? What was the only area of his life that the other chief administrators and provincial governors think they might find something to complain against Daniel?
