General Information
This chapter gives a series of disconnected pieces of advice. Translators should not try to smooth the transitions between these pieces of advice. The advice does not apply in every situation, so they should be seen as "good ideas". The ULB sets poetry in this chapter farther to the right than the rest of the text to show that it is poetry.
Send out your bread on the waters, for you will find it again after many days
A person should be generous with his possessions and will then receive generously from others or a person should invest his resources openly and will make a profit from it.
