# Yahweh of hosts ... says

Jeremiah often uses these words to introduce an important message from Yahweh. See how you translated a similar phrase in [Jeremiah 6:6](../06/06.md).

# You yourselves have seen
|
|
|
|
The word "yourselves" is used for emphasis to specify the people of Judea who live in the land of Egypt. (See: [[rc://en/ta/man/jit/figs-rpronouns]])
