The king of Judah had vowed to obey Babylon but instead he followed Egypt. Therefore, God said he would not prosper.

Will he succeed?

"He will certainly not succeed."

Will the one doing these things escape?

"The one doing these things will not escape."

If he breaks the covenant, will he escape?

"If he breaks the covenant, he will certainly not escape."
