# Connecting Statement:
This begins the account of Jesus celebrating the Passover with his disciples.
# Now
This word is used here to mark a break in the main story line. Here Matthew starts to tell a new part of the story.
# He said, "Go into the city to a certain man and say to him, 'The Teacher says, "My time is at hand. I will keep the Passover at your house with my disciples."'"
This has quotations within quotations. You can state some of the direct quotations as indirect quotations. AT: "He told his disciples to go into the city to a certain man and tell him that the Teacher says to him, 'My time is at hand. I will keep the Passover at your house with my disciples.'" or "He told his disciples to go into the city to a certain man and say to him that the Teacher's time is at hand and he will keep the Passover with his disciples at that man's house." # My time
Possible meanings are 1) "The time that I told you about" or 2) "The time God has set for me."
# is at hand

"eat the Passover meal" or "celebrate the Passover by eating the special meal"
