"I tell you the truth." This emphasizes what the King says next.

Here "brothers" refers to anyone, male or female, who obeys the King. Alternate translation: "my brothers and sisters here" or "these who are like my brothers and sisters" (See: [[rc://en/ta/man/jit/figs-gendernotations]])
