## Now I want ##

Here the word "now" is used to mark a new part of the letter.

## that the things which happened to me ##

## have advanced the progress of the gospel ##

AT: "have caused more people to believe in Christ"

This is a group of soldiers that helped protect the Roman emperor.

## And also so that most of the brothers...speak the word of God ##

AT: "Also, because of my imprisonment, most of the brothers in the Lord speak the word of God"

## with more boldness and without fear ##

Paul expresses the same idea both positively and negatively to emphasize the great courage that they showed by preaching in dangerous circumstances. AT: "with great boldness and courage" (See: [[rc://en/ta/man/translate/figs-doublet]])
