## Paul's Third Missionary Journey
|
|
1. Paul went from Caesarea down to Antioch (18:22-23)
|
|
2. Paul went through the region of Galatian and Phrygia to encourage the churches (18:23)
|
|
a. (at this time) Apollos, an Alexandrian, came to Ephesus. He taught well, but he only knew the “baptism of John” (18:25)
|
|
b. Priscilla and Aquila taught Apollos more carefully
|
|
3. Paul crossed over to Achaia and encouraged the church there (18:27-28)
|
|
4. When Apollos was at Corinth, Paul passed through the upper country and returned to Ephesus (19:1)
|
|
a. Ministry of the Holy Spirit (19:2-7)
|
|
5. Paul was three months in Ephesus (19:8-10)
|
|
a. God did miracles by the hand of Paul (19:11-20)
|
|
b. Riots in Ephesus caused by Demetrius (19:21-41)

a. Accompanied by Sopater of Peroea, Aristarchus, Secundus, Gaius, and Timothy, and the Asians Tychicus and Trophimus (20:4) They waited for the others at Troas.

8. They sailed from Philippi and in five days came to Troas, staying there for seven days
|
|
a. Paul and the others came to Troas and stayed there for seven days
|
|
b. (where Eutychus, fell out of the window, 20:9ff)

|
9. From Troas to Assos and then to Miletus to Chios, then Samas, then Miletus (20:13-16)
|
|
10. Paul planned to sail past Ephesus, but he called the Ephesian elders to Miletus where he gave them his defense (20:17-35)
|
|
11. From Miletus to Caesarea
|
|
a. The departed Miletus, to Cos, then to Rhodes, to Patara, then to Syria (Tyre), then to Ptolemais, and then to Caesarea (21:1-8)
|
|
b. Final destination, Jerusalem (21:15)
|
|
