- well-coiffed hair, baldness - coiffed hair, baldness** - "pretty hair, their heads will be bald"
- Your men will fall by the sword, and your strong men in war - "Enemies will kill your husbands and soldiers in battle."
- Jerusalem's gates will lament and mourn - Alternate translation: "The people of Jerusalem will sit at the city gates and cry and mourn." (See: en:ta:vol2:translate:figs_metonymy)
- she will be alone and sit upon the ground - Possible meanings are 1) "The city will be like a woman who sits on the ground because all her friends have deserted her" (See: UDB and en:ta:vol2:translate:figs_personification) or 2) "the people of Jerusalem will sit on the ground with no one to help them."
