# Faithful
A person who is “faithful” to someone is a person who is loyal to someone and always does what is best for that person. A faithful person completes a task even if the task takes a long time and is difficult to do.

A person who is faithful to God is loyal to God. That is, the person is someone who consistently obeys God.

God is always faithful. He always does what he says he will do, even if his people are not faithful to him (see: 2 Timothy 2:13; see also: Numbers 23:19; Deuteronomy 7:9; Romans 3:3; 1 Corinthians 1:9; Titus 1:2).
