Possible meanings are 1) Yahweh is speaking about himself in the third person. This can be stated in first person. AT: "with his idols, therefore I, Yahweh, the God of Israel, say this: Look" or 2) the prophet is introducing what Yahweh says. AT: "with his idols.' whoever hears of it, both his ears will tingle
