The Unlocked Literal Bible (ULB) is a relatively literal translation of the Bible that is intended to be used as a source text for Bible translators who may not have a reading knowledge of the original biblical languages. It is relatively literal in that it retains many of the grammatical structures, idioms, and figures of speech used in the Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek source documents. However, when those grammatical structures, idioms, or figures of speech would not be understood correctly, the ULB uses English grammatical structures, and it expresses the meanings in more understandable ways.
