\v 22 But it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment than for you.

Should be

\v 22 Nevertheless, I tell you that it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment than for you.

Most versions go with simple "but," as does ULB in v. 24, and that's fine too. I prefer mine because the πλὴν is "implying the validity of something irrespective of other considerations" (L-N). I'd add a tN:

Nevertheless

That is, whether indeed Chorazin and Bethsaida "would have repented" (Matthew 11:21), Jesus is emphasizing that what he is about to say is true.

\v 22 **But** it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment than for you. I don't see any other version that leaves out the "I tell you." I think it would be good to put it in the ULB.

I don't think we need to change "But" to "Nevetheless."

I agree with "But, I tell you that ..."

Honestly, I don't understand what πλήν is doing here. It does not seem to be contrasting anything from the first statement. To me, something like "indeed" would work better, or maybe even "moreover."

However, most translations use "but" so I am fine with that.

Tom, John already wrote "I agree with "But, I tell you that ...""
So I think you can go ahead and make the change.

The ULB of Mat 11:22 now reads:

\v 22 But, I tell you it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment than for you.
