From Gary Shogren:
Okay, I think I found a minor but legit issue with the ULB in 1 Tim 6:15 -
15God will reveal Christ's appearing at the right time—God, the blessed and only Sovereign, the King who reigns and the Lord who rules. ULB
Not sure where this red text comes from. The Greek - all manuscripts and versions - and the ASV have, correctly:
"the king of kings and the lord of lords."
The UDB has it right as well.
OGNT also has "King of kings and Lord of lords"
ὁ μακάριος καὶ μόνος Δυνάστης,
ὁ Βασιλεὺς τῶν βασιλευόντων
καὶ Κύριος τῶν κυριευόντων,
I agree that this should be fixed. The ULB's expression of Christ's authority is way to weak.
