Delete Branch "%!s(<nil>)"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in him would have eternal life and I will raise him up on the last day.
The word "would" gives the feeling of counterfactual, as if God wills it, but it won't happen.
Other versions have these:
shall have
should have
will have
may have
NET BIble: For this is the will of my Father--for everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him to have eternal life,
Though there are slight differences, I'd be fine with any of them, except "would have".
1/30/24 Resolved to "will" with Drew and made change to branch.
