Other versions indicate that Jesus knew all things that would happen to him in the future, not just what was happening at the present time.

NIV: Jesus, knowing all that was going to happen to him ...
ESV: Then Jesus, knowing all that would happen to him,...
NASB 95: So Jesus, knowing all the things that were coming upon Him,

I suggest changing it to one of these
