From 029aa0625f7fe984b2f4666c243a80a4d04fc300 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Tom Warren Date: Fri, 29 Apr 2016 02:04:22 -0400 Subject: [PATCH] 22:17 MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit Trance changed to vision. A trance is a state of altered consciousness (of doubtful authenticity). He was given a vision, so that he could "see" Jesus. This is a simpler term. The Gk is ἐκστάσει, is means to "be taken from one place to another" with the figurative meanings. Vision seems less problematic and fits the rest of the verse. --- 45-ACT/22.usfm | 2 +- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 1 deletion(-) diff --git a/45-ACT/22.usfm b/45-ACT/22.usfm index 04a122f5..f6e8c696 100644 --- a/45-ACT/22.usfm +++ b/45-ACT/22.usfm @@ -33,7 +33,7 @@ \v 16 And now why are you waiting?
