It is often implied that the task is difficult. * A laborer is a person who does any type of labor. * In English, the word "labor" is also used for part of the process of giving birth. Other languages may have a completely different word for this. * Ways to translate "labor" could include "work" or "hard work" or "difficult work" or to "work hard." * "Toil" is hard, unpleasant work, and to "toil" is to do hard, unpleasant work.
