The Jews at that time used grass in their fires to cook their food. This can be stated in active form.  "someone throws it into a fire" or "someone burns it" 

# how much more will he clothe you ... faith?

This question can be translated as a statement. Alternate translation: "he will certainly clothe you ... faith." 

# you of little faith

"you who have such little faith." Jesus addresses the people this way because their anxiety about food and clothing shows they have little faith in God.
