"Respond to me when I call" or "Help me when I call"

# God of my righteousness

"God, who shows that I am righteous"

# give me room when I am hemmed in

Being in danger is spoken of as being in a narrow space. Alternate translation: "rescue me when I am in danger" (See: [[rc://en/ta/man/jit/figs-metaphor]])
