# General Information

This chapter is the final defeat of Judah and the beginning of their exile to Babylon. Zedekiah revolted against the Babylonians; so they came and completely destroyed Jerusalem, tearing down the city walls. They took the rest of the people to Babylon as slaves, except for the very poorest people.
