# Son of man

"by the way they lived and the things they did"

# Their ways were like the uncleanness of the impurity before me

The words "the impurity" are a euphemism for the unclean rags a woman uses at the time of the month when she bleeds from her womb. This simile emphasizes how disgusting the people's behavior was to Yahweh.
