## Let no one think I am a fool ##

There is a difference between Paul doing a little foolish boasting, and actually being a fool who can be easily deceived.

## receive me like a fool ##

Paul is expressing a momentary desire to boast to and about the Corinth church.

## so I may boast a little. ##

AT: "while I boast a little."

## What I am saying about this boastful confidence is not condoned by the Lord, ##

AT: "This kind of boasting is not encouraged by the Lord,"

## according to the flesh,  ##
