# 2 Samuel 11 General Notes #

This chapter begins a new section of David's life. God punished David by allowing his family to have many problems.

The army of Israel defeated the army of Ammon and then they besieged Ammon's capital while David stayed in Jerusalem. One day, David saw a beautiful woman, named Bathsheba, bathing.
