## When they had appointed for them ##

"When Paul and Barnabas had appointed leaders for the new groups of believers"​

## they entrusted them  ##

"Paul and Barnabas entrusted the elders they appointed"

## in whom they had believed ##

"in whom the new believers had believed"

## Then they passed…When they had spoken…they went down…from there they sailed…where they had been…which they had now completed ##

"they" refers to Paul and Barnabas

## where they had been committed to the grace of God ##

"Where the people of Antioch prayed that God would care for and protect Paul and Barnabas"
