# Connecting Statement:

# the branch becomes tender
|
|
|
|
The phrase "the branch" refers to the branches of the fig tree. AT: "its branches become tender"
|
|
|
|
# tender
|
|
|
|
"green and soft"
|
|
|
|
# puts out its leaves
|
|
|
|

|

"the Son of Man is near"

|
