# Rapture

Scholars use the word “rapture” to talk about the time when Jesus will take his people from the earth. Jesus will resurrect Christians who have died. He will give them new bodies. These bodies will not die again. He will also give new bodies that will not die to Christians who are still alive (see: 1 Corinthians 15:50-54; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).
