To walk with someone is a metaphor for being in a close relationship with him. AT: "[Enoch](rc://en/tw/dict/bible/names/enoch) had a close relationship with God" or "[Enoch](rc://en/tw/dict/bible/names/enoch) lived in union with God" (See: [[rc://en/ta/man/translate/figs-metaphor]])
# then he was gone
The word "he" refers to [Enoch](rc://en/tw/dict/bible/names/enoch). He was no longer on earth.
# for God took him
This means that God took [Enoch](rc://en/tw/dict/bible/names/enoch) to be with himself (God).
