# Abraham, Abram
## Fakta:
Abram adalah seorang Kasdim dari kota Ur yang dipilih Allah menjadi nenek moyang bangsa Israel. Allah mengubah namanya menjadi “Abraham.”
* Nama “Abram” berarti “ayah yang dimuliakan”.
* “Abraham” berarti “bapak banyak orang.”
*Allah berjanji kepada Abraham bahwa dia akan mempunyai keturunan yang banyak, yang akan menjadi bangsa yang besar.
* Abraham percaya kepada ALlah dan menaatinya. Allah memimpin Abraham untuk pindah dari Kasdim ke tanah Kanaan.
* Abraham dan istrinya Sarah, ketika mereka sudah sangat tua dan tinggal di tanah Kanaan, mempunyai seorang putra, Ishak.
